Q5/SQ5 MKII Discussion - 18 Q5 Dipstick? - I am planning on doing a "topside" oil change on my 2018 Q5 within the next month. Does anyone know the Audi part number for the MK2 dipstick? Would a MK1 dipstick work as the engine (2.0T) is almost the same as the prior model?

In 2011, many of the models with the MMI interface faced an issue where the display would not function due to this hardware safety. Audi had to perform an update in order for the system to work properly. If it is an issue of extreme heat, perform a hard reset. If the unit still fails to work, have the module inspected. Figure 2.
Fortunately, your Audi does come with a dipstick tube. The dipstick tube on your 2.0 litre engine will have a small plastic cap on it and the cap snaps onto the end of the tube.

#1 I found this out because my rental is a Q5 and the oil level warning went off in the dash. States to add a maximum of 1 qt. of oil which I plan to do. The conversation with Enterprise made gave me pause as the person on the other end had no idea the vehicle should have had an oil change at 10K.
