Applies to: Scarlett 3rd, Scarlett 2nd Gen (6i6, 18i8 & 18i20) and all Clarett interfaces. If you are not able to see your Focusrite interface in Focusrite Control, you may see one of two error messages: No Hardware Connected. No Hardware Detected.
Disconnect any other USB devices you might have connected to the system. Connect your interface to other USB ports. Some ports on your system may offer better performance than others. If you use a USB hub, bypass this and connect your Scarlett directly to a USB port on your computer.
ILok is not needed for the 2i2, nor for Ableton Live. Are you getting any sound from the interface (YouTube, Games)? Does it light up? Are you sure you've reinstalled the correct drivers? Pressing a key while in Live would not brick the interface. Make sure the 2i2 is correctly selected in prefrances. I will gladly help as I have a 2i2 and use
New Focusrit Scarlett 2I2 Studio 3rd Gen I have windows 10, but no USB 2 ports only USB 3. When I connect to my PC, I get the No Hardware Detected message. Any thoughts on how to correct? Sort by: artisan002 • 4 yr. ago Thoughts off the top of my head
You install the driver while Focusrite Scarlett 2I2 is plugged in: First, uninstall the driver for the Focusrite audio interface. Second, disconnect Focusrite Scarlett 2I2 from your computer. Third, restart your computer. When the computer comes back on, reinstall the driver, hook up the Focusrite audio interface and initiate the setup process.
